Did It Happen?
This book is a classic work of fiction and encompasses all the thrill and suspense of a psychological thriller. It revolves around a single protagonist, who is seen to be attached to a hospital bed at the starting of the story. The protagonist is entirely unaware of the consequences that brought him to the hospital and his current state of complete memory loss. He struggles to remember his identity, family, and even his name. The reader will navigate through his initial confusion and the story will unfold as the protagonist is met with the head nurse and the doctor in charge of his care, learning that he was involved in a car accident. Additional details are revealed to him as he is introduced to the psychologist that is supposed to work with his apparent amnesia. However in this dark and nail-biting thriller, everything is not what it seems. Soon it is revealed that everyone is hiding secrets and that the protagonist is a carefully planted means to an end. As the story progresses, the reader is exposed to new truths and how everything being fed to the protagonist through the constricted exposure offered to him. This turns out that this may be a ghastly hoax for the achievement of much darker and sinister goals. The book continues to shift between slow infusing of the protagonist’s real past with his current state of being and the shady workings of the people around him, leaving the reader on edge as the story unveils the perfect execution and pace of an above the par psychological thriller.
